Sweet Sayings

This is a very sweet saying that we have seen often written on greeting cards, “A friend is someone who knows all about you, and loves you just the same”

“Is he just doing a bad Elvis pout, or was he born that way?”

“Tell me whom you love and I will tell you who you are.”

“Anyone can hate. It costs to love.”

“Good friends are like stars…. You don’t always see them, but you know they are always there”

“My best friend is the one who brings out the best in me.”

“A friend is one before whom I may think aloud.”

“You own a dog but you feed a cat.”

“When I play with my cat, how do I know that she is not passing time with me rather than I with her?”

“Never worry about the size of your Christmas tree. In the eyes of children, they are all 30 feet tall. ”

“When the eyes meet and hold strongly they are bound to meet again.”

“In the beginning, God created man, but seeing him so feeble, He gave him the cat.”

“Outside of a dog, a book is man’s best friend. Inside of a dog, it’s too dark to read.”

“When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life To start as soon as possible.”

“Christmas is sights, especially the sights of Christmas reflected in the eyes of a child. ”

“Dogs come when they’re called. Cats take a message and get back to you.”

“There’s nothing sadder in this world than to awake Christmas morning and not be a child.”

“If there is no joyous way to give a festive gift, give love away.”

This is just so true – “Dogs come when they’re called. Cats take a message and get back to you.” The second favorite of mine from your list is – “There’s nothing sadder in this world than to awake Christmas morning and not be a child.”

I guess we all grow older but most of us still remember the feelings we had as children, even just seeing Christmas cards and the Christmas tree and decorations start to go up. When we are older we can live through the children to still make the most of Christmas for them.

    Regards
    Gary
